Sodje in line for Cup return

Reading are set to welcome defender Sam Sodje back from knee surgery for tomorrow’s Carling Cup clash at Liverpool.

Winger Bobby Convey (knee) and skipper Graeme Murty (hamstring) remain on the sidelines with long-term absentees Dave Kitson and Peter Mate (both knee).

Defender Andre Bikey returns from suspension and youngsters James Henry, Pierre Joseph-Dubois, Alex Pearce, Jonathan Hayes and Curtis Osano join the squad as manager Steve Coppell looks to give fringe men run outs.
