Duo out for Bolton
Bolton manager Sam Allardyce will be without the services of Abdoulaye Faye and Kevin Nolan for tomorrow’s Carling Cup third round clash at Charlton.
Senegalese centre-back Faye has been ruled out after suffering a mild concussion during Sunday's win at Blackburn, while skipper Nolan serves the first of a three-match ban he was given for picking up a fifth booking at Ewood Park and then later being shown a straight red card for dissent.
That further depletes Allardyce’s already thin squad, although striker Henrik Pedersen is expected to be back after recovering from surgery for an Achilles tendon injury.
Goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen, who saved two penalties at Blackburn, may be rested ahead of Saturday’s Barclays Premiership clash against Manchester United.
