Fine for Barton

Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton has been fined £2,000 (€3,000) and warned as to his future conduct for baring his backside at Everton fans.

The 24-year-old admitted a charge of improper conduct and/or bringing the game into disrepute and was fined by a Football Association disciplinary commission today.

Barton dropped his shorts twice after being taunted by Everton fans following the final whistle at Goodison Park on September 30.
