Scotland striker Garry O’Connor has apologised to manager Walter Smith after being omitted from the trip to Ukraine today.

The Lokomotiv Moscow forward is understood to have been dropped from the squad after failing to meet up with his team-mates at their East Kilbride base on Sunday after the win over France.
