Andrew Johnson expects to be fit for Everton’s next match having been forced out of the England squad this week with hamstring trouble.

The former Crystal Palace striker will miss tomorrow’s Euro 2008 qualifier with Macedonia and the midweek trip to Croatia but hopes to be ready to play at Middlesbrough on October 14.
