Hornets without Powell
Watford will be without former England defender Chris Powell as they look for their first win of the season against Aston Villa tomorrow.
The 37-year-old left-back is likely to be unavailable for three weeks due to a calf injury, and joins centre-back Clarke Carlisle, who is still suffering from a chest infection, on the sidelines.
Powell’s place on the left side of the defence is likely to be taken by Jordan Stewart as Adrian Boothroyd’s men aim to bounce back from last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Bolton.
Watford (from): Foster, Lee, Doyley, Mackay, Shittu, Stewart, DeMerit, Mariappa, Young, Mahon, Francis, Smith, Spring, Bangura, Chambers, McNamee, Jarrett, King, Henderson, Priskin, Bouazza.
