Kromkamp set to prove point against the Reds
Jan Kromkamp will set out to prove a point when his new team PSV Eindhoven meet Liverpool tomorrow night after surviving less than a season at Anfield before being shipped out to PSV on transfer deadline day.
The full-back can be forgiven for feeling he was never given a fair crack of the whip at Liverpool and will arguably be the most motivated player on the pitch.
Paired with Luis García on the day the couple's battle on the pitch is expected to be hotly contested.
García has become something of a talisman for Liverpool in Europe, the Spain international’s goals crucial to them reaching the 2005 Champions League final.
He also weighed in with a couple last season and will be eager to open his account this time around.
