Ballack to debut for Chelsea

Michael Ballack will make his Premiership debut for Chelsea at Ewood Park today, as will Khalid Boulahrouz.

Ballack returns following a hip injury, as will goalkeeper Petr Cech following shoulder surgery.

Carlo Cudicini, Paulo Ferreira and Didier Drogba stand down following the midweek defeat at Middlesbrough.

Blackburn manager Mark Hughes makes two changes to the side that drew against Everton.

Defender Andre Ooijer will debut following his arrival from PSV Eindhoven while Lucas Neill returns after suspension. They replace Andy Todd and Michael Gray.
