Sunderland remain tight-lipped on Keane rumour

Sunderland are remaining tight-lipped about rumours that Roy Keane is set to take over as manager at the Championship club.

The former Ireland and Manchester United captain is believed to be in talks with the club about the move.

Current chairman and manager Niall Quinn refused to comment on the matter today, except to say: "We're in negotiations with somebody who hasn't said yes and hasn't said no."
