Hammam hits back in Bates v Ridsdale row

Cardiff chairman Sam Hammam has backed claims by Bluebirds deputy chief executive Peter Ridsdale that he was ejected from the Elland Road boardroom by Leeds chairman Ken Bates.

Ridsdale, a former Leeds chairman, insists Bates informed him he was no longer welcome at the ground, although Bates later described the claim as “a pack of lies“.
