Short blow for Blades

Veteran centre-back Craig Short is out of Sheffield United’s Barclays Premiership clash against Tottenham at White Hart Lane tomorrow.

Short was a late withdrawal from the squad for Saturday’s opening 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Bramall Lane after tearing fibres in his thigh and has failed to recover.
