Martin O’Neill has insisted it will “take time” to win back all the Aston Villa supporters disillusioned with recent events at the midlands club.

Villa have reported a healthy response to O’Neill’s appointment as David O’Leary’s successor with nearly 1,000 season tickets sold in the last three days.
