Dalymount Park to host Drogheda Euro tie
Drogheda United have confirmed that they will play the second leg of their UEFA Cup qualifying match against I.T. Start of Norway at Dalymount Park, Dublin on August 24.
At the announcement, Drogheda United chairman Vincent Hoey said: “We are delighted that Bohemians have agreed to grant our request and continue the excellent working relationship that has developed between the clubs during the staging of our first round game with HJK Helsinki.”
Drogheda United manager Paul Doolin stated: “The players are delighted to be going back to Dalymount for the second leg.
“The atmosphere in last week’s game was brilliant and the players were certainly lifted by the passionate support of the Drogs fans who turned up in great numbers.”
Drogheda United have teamed up with Celtic Horizon Tours to arrange a charter flight for their UEFA Cup qualifying game against I.K Start in Kristiansand Norway.
