Dunga has been confirmed as the new coach of the Brazilian national team.

Dunga has been confirmed as the new coach of the Brazilian national team.

The former Brazil captain was announed as the Selecao’s new coach by Ricardo Teixeira, president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), on the CBF’s official website on Monday.

The 42-year-old succeeds Carlos Alberto Parreira, who quit as coach last Wednesday after Brazil were knocked out of the quarter-finals of this summer’s World Cup by France.
