Karl-Heinz Rummenigge claims Ruud van Nistelrooy has informed Bayern Munich of his intention to play for the German club.

Van Nistelrooy has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after an end-of-season row with boss Alex Ferguson, with Real Madrid and Bayern leading the chase.
