Blues to bag Bruno

Birmingham are poised to sign defender Bruno N’Gotty on a free transfer.

The French centre-back, 35, was out of contract with Bolton and is set to join Steve Bruce’s side as they look to make an instant return to the Barclays Premiership, with the final details of the move expected to be completed shortly.

Blues have signed striker Cameron Jerome, midfielder Neil Danns and full-back Stephen Kelly since they were relegated from the top flight.
