Wigan boss Paul Jewell has confirmed the Latics have made a bid for Birmingham striker Emile Heskey.

Wigan boss Paul Jewell has confirmed the Latics have made a bid for Birmingham striker Emile Heskey.

Jewell also admitted making enquiries about Robbie Savage to Blackburn who indicated he was not for sale.
