Jeremy Clement will jet into Scotland today and could complete his move to Rangers.

The 21-year-old midfielder is high on Paul Le Guen’s wanted list, ahead of his first season in charge.

French club Lyon finally agreed a fee – reported to be close to £1.1m (€1.58m) – after around six weeks of negotiations.

Clement said: “I’m happy that the clubs have agreed a fee and now it’s up to me to make my mind up on the move.

“I’m coming to Scotland to see the stadium, the training ground and a bit of the country before talking things over with the club.

“It’s pleasing that a manager like Paul Le Guen wants me so much that he has waited for this transfer but I won’t know exactly what will happen with Rangers until I go to Scotland.”
