Sunderland begin life in the Coca-Cola Championship with an opening-day fixture at Coventry on August 5.

Black Cats fans are hoping former Republic of Ireland striker Niall Quinn and his consortium have taken over the club by the time they make the trip to the Ricoh Arena.
