Sevilla full-back Daniel Alves is "attracted" by a possible move to Liverpool, according to his agent.

Reds boss Rafael Benitez has long been an admirer of the sought-after Brazilian, who helped his club to UEFA Cup glory in the recently-completed season, and is believed to have tabled two offers to bring him to Anfield.

"Daniel is happy where he is but he wants to improve like anyone else," Alves' agent Jose Rodriguez told AS newspaper.

"I do not want to say he does not want to stay at Sevilla but it is clear he is attracted by a move to Liverpool."

Liverpool are expected to face competition from Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona for the 23-year-old, who could command a transfer fee as high as £12m (€17.6m).
