Angola star warns against obsession with Portugal 'grudge' match
Angola playmaker Paulo Figueiredo has warned his team-mates not to become too obsessed with the match against Portugal.
The Black Antelopes are making their World Cup debuts against the country that ruled Angola until 1975.
The country was racked by civil war from its secession from Portugal that year until 2002.
However Figueiredo played down the significance of a game that is being described as “the game of the century” in Angola.
Figueiredo said: “It’s not just about playing Portugal but also about two other opponents (Mexico and Iran).”
