Nakamura set to see out Celtic deal

Celtic midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura has hinted he is prepared to see out his contract with the Hoops.

The Japan international, who is currently in training for the World Cup, had been strongly linked with Spain’s UEFA Cup winners Seville.

The 27-year-old has proved to be a major hit with Hoops supporters since joining the Glasgow giants last summer from Reggina.

Now Nakamura looks set to ensure that relationship continues for the next two seasons.

Nakamura said: “I see me staying at Celtic and honouring my contract. That is what is in my mind right now.”
