Teddy Sheringham thought his chance of more FA Cup glory had gone, and so the veteran striker is planning to ‘cherish the moment’ again with West Ham in Cardiff this weekend.

The 40-year-old came off the bench to score in Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Newcastle at Wembley in 1999, before the Red Devils went on to complete a remarkable treble in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.
