Bridge hurt in nightclub fracas

England World Cup footballer Wayne Bridge was injured during a “disturbance” outside a nightclub, it emerged today.

Bridge, 25, who had reportedly been celebrating the end of the league season, suffered a head injury but did not go to hospital.
