King signs new Tottenham deal

Tottenham captain Ledley King has signed a new four-year contract.

The England defender’s current deal was due to expire at the end of next season but the 25-year-old has now committed his future to the White Hart Lane.

The new contract will keep King, currently injured with a broken metatarsal bone and fighting to recover in time for the World Cup, with the club until summer 2010.
