McClaren hails comeback kings

Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren admitted even he cannot believe his side’s remarkable powers of recovery after seeing them pull off one of the great UEFA Cup comebacks.

The Teessiders were heading out of the competition after Steaua Bucharest increased their aggregate lead to 3-0 just 24 minutes into the semi-final, second-leg clash at the Riverside Stadium.
