Eircom League trio called up to Republic U21 squad

Three eircom League players have been included in the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad to take on Azerbaijan in the UEFA Championships qualifiers on May 11 and 18.

Three eircom League players have been included in the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad to take on Azerbaijan in the UEFA Championships qualifiers on May 11 and 18.

UCD pair Darren Quigley and Gary Dicker, along with Bohemians striker Stephen Ward, have been called into the squad by manager Don Givens for the crucial double header.

All three are also targets for English clubs with Reading watching Quigley and Dicker while Charlton are keen on Ward and Dicker.
