Jimmy Walker could return in goal for Shaka Hislop, who started Sunday’s semi-final victory over Middlesbrough, while right-back Lionel Scaloni is set to come back into the side. Pardew may also rotate his strike-force.

Christian Dailly has returned to training from a calf injury but is not expected to be involved in the game.

Provisional squad: Hislop, Ferdinand, Gabbidon, Collins, Konchesky, Benayoun, Reo-Coker, Mullins, Etherington, Ashton, Harewood, Walker, Scaloni, Clarke, Ward, Newton, Reid Fletcher, Sheringham, Zamora, Katan.
