Walsall have sacked manager Kevan Broadhurst following the club’s relegation to League Two after Saturday’s home defeat against Huddersfield.

Broadhurst took over at the Saddlers in February, following the departure of Paul Merson, but a disastrous run of eight games without a win saw the club sink to their second relegation in three years.

Walsall‘s experienced midfielder Mark Kinsella will take charge of the final two games of the season, as the board of directors seek a long-term replacement.
