Frank Lampard can point to the numbers if Michael Ballack wants to know what it takes to become a Chelsea legend.

Ballack is “extremely optimistic” he will be a Chelsea player before the World Cup but the impending arrival of the Bayern Munich star has not stopped Lampard tearing through the record books.
