Stuart Pearce admits selling Shaun Wright-Phillips to Chelsea last summer has probably cost Manchester City a place in Europe.

England winger Wright-Phillips moved to Stamford Bridge last July for £21m (€30.3m) and, without him, City have ended up in the bottom half of the Premiership.
