Boro suffer Southgate setback

Middlesbrough skipper Gareth Southgate is out of tomorrow night’s UEFA Cup quarter-final first leg clash against Basle.

The 35-year-old defender misses out on the away trip due to a combination of back and ankle problems, however Chris Riggott has shaken off a calf injury to take his place in the squad.
