Kamara in need of repair

West Brom are sweating on the fitness of key midfielder Diomansy Kamara with Baggies boss Bryan Robson fearful he could be sidelined for the foreseeable future.

The Senegal international limped out of Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Manchester United just before the hour mark with a hamstring injury.

Robson said: “We’ll see how the injury settles down but it looks like a strained hamstring so he could be missing for a few games.”

Kamara has only been back in an Albion shirt for the past four games after being on African Nations Cup duty with his country.

Skipper and striker Kevin Campbell is battling to be fit for next Monday’s game at Tottenham after suffering a knee problem against the Red Devils and being substituted at half-time.
