Robinson back for Albion

West Brom defender Paul Robinson has shaken off a knee injury in time to face Manchester United at The Hawthorns.

West Brom defender Paul Robinson has shaken off a knee injury in time to face Manchester United at The Hawthorns.

The left-back limped out of last weekend’s derby draw at Birmingham in the first half but is back in full training.

Robinson was given a man-marking role against Wayne Rooney at Old Trafford earlier in the season and did an effective job before being injured. Albion are considering using the same tactic again.

Midfielder Zoltan Gera is not deemed fit enough to return to senior action after his pelvic injury although he played 65 minutes for the reserves on Monday. Nigel Quashie is still suspended.

Team (from): Kuszczak, Kirkland, Albrechtsen, Davies, Watson, Clement, Robinson, Greening, Inamoto, Wallwork, Kamara, Kozak, Campbell, Kanu, Ellington, Carter.
