O'Neil misses chance for Pompey

Portsmouth captain Gary O’Neil missed a golden chance to put his side ahead as Pompey boss Harry Redknapp looked to halt a run of four defeats and kick-start their Barclays Premiership survival bid.

O’Neil passed a fitness test on an ankle problem to return to the host’s midfield and was on the end of the best chance of the half but could only head off target from close range.
