Scotland coach Walter Smith has named three Inverness Caledonian Thistle players in the squad for next week’s Future Cup match against Turkey at the Caledonian Stadium.

Smith has named a squad of 16 players and given a first call-up to Thistle midfielder Ian Black, who turns 21 the day before the game.

He will hope to make an impression on his home ground alongside club mates Mark Brown and Craig Dargo.

The Old Firm is represented by just Celtic’s Adam Virgo, while there is also a place in the squad for Doncaster youngster Michael McIndoe, who has just joined Derby on loan.

This is the final match in the Future Cup and Turkey need just a draw to win the tournament, while Scotland can finish third with a victory.

Scotland squad: Brown (Inverness), Turner (Everton), Berra (Hearts), Diamond (Aberdeen), Hammell (Motherwell), Neilson (Hearts), Virgo (Celtic), Black (Inverness), Kerr (Motherwell), McAllister (Hearts), McIndoe (Derby, on loan from Doncaster), Rankin (Ross), Robson (Dundee Utd), Dargo (Inverness), Duffy (Hull), Miller (Dundee Utd).
