Premiership footballer Craig Bellamy has been arrested by police in connection with an alleged nightclub assault on a teenage girl, it emerged today.

Premiership footballer Craig Bellamy has been arrested by police in connection with an alleged nightclub assault on a teenage girl, it emerged today.

The Blackburn and Wales striker was arrested and released on police bail after being questioned about an incident last month at the Number 10 nightclub on Mill Lane, Cardiff.
