Miller's back for Black Cats

Tommy Miller is available to return to Sunderland’s midfield for Sunday’s match against Manchester City at the City of Manchester Stadium.

Miller missed last weekend’s defeat by relegation rivals Birmingham City because of suspension but local youngster Grant Leadbitter may retain his place after impressing manager Mick McCarthy.

Rory Delap is also set for his first start after coming on as a substitute at St Andrew’s and full back George McCartney is also expected to be available after recovering from a hamstring injury.
