Wigan goalkeeper John Filan will start a Premiership match for the first time since November 19 when he faces Manchester United at the JJB Stadium on Monday.

Filan is back between the posts as Mike Pollitt is out for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury sustained early in last Sunday’s 4-0 Carling Cup defeat to Sir Alex Ferguson’s side.

Manager Paul Jewell otherwise has a virtually fully-fit squad to choose from.

Team (from): Filan, Walsh, Chimbonda, Jackson, Baines, De Zeeuw, Henchoz, Teale, Bullard, Kavanagh, Thompson, McCulloch, Scharner, Johansson, Camara, Mellor, Francis, Mahon, Ziegler, Roberts.
