Fortune returns for United reserves
Quinton Fortune played more than an hour for Manchester United reserves tonight.
The South African utility man has not made a single appearance for the Red Devils so far this season due to injury but has finally been given the all-clear to gain step up his recovery programme in competitive conditions.
And tonight he appeared to play without problem for 62 minutes as United’s reserves drew 1-1 with their Wolves counterparts.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored United’s goal in the first half – his second goal for United’s second string since he came back from injury himself – with Romanian Vio Ganea replying just before the hour mark.
