The Football Association intend to announce plans in the near future to mark England’s 1966 World Cup success.

Reports today suggested the FA were not going to commemorate the achievement, the one and so far only time England have won the tournament, but the sport’s national governing body insist something is in the pipeline to hail the heroes of 1966.
