Double blow for Spurs

Tottenham coach Martin Jol is missing Teemu Tainio (ankle) and Andy Reid (ligaments) for the clash against Wigan at White Hart Lane on Sunday. New signing Hossam Ghali is out with a groin problem.

Egyptian striker Mido is fit after returning from the African Nations Cup and Jol must choose whether to split his pairing of Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane in attack.

Reserve striker Lee Barnard is sidelined with an ankle injury so Jol will rely on those three for the goals against Paul Jewell’s side.
