Birmingham will have striker Emile Heskey and midfielder Damien Johnson back available after suspension for the trip to face Stoke on Sunday.

Heskey had to serve a two-game ban following his red card against Arsenal while Johnson was suspended for three games after being sent off against Liverpool.

But Bruce will not be able to call on the services of new signing, striker DJ Campbell. He is cup-tied after scoring twice for Brentford in their win over Sunderland in the previous round.

Midfielder David Dunn is back in training after a calf injury and Bruce has to decide whether to include Nicky Butt in his plans following his hotel walk-out after not being selected in the 16 to face West Ham on Monday.

Team (from): Maik Taylor, Melchiot, Latka, Cunningham, Martin Taylor, Gray, Clapham, Pennant, Butt, Bruce, Clemence, Johnson, Jarosik, Heskey, Sutton, Forssell, Vaesen, Painter, Tebily, Kilkenny, Lazaridis, Dunn.
