Strachan believes rest will do McLeish good

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan insists Alex McLeish will come back better than ever after taking a break from the relentless pressures of managing one of the Old Firm clubs.

It was announced by chairman David Murray that McLeish, who has been under fire due to the Light Blues’ poor domestic form this season, will step down in the summer after four-and-a-half years at the helm.
