Sheringham: I turned down Spurs

Veteran West Ham forward Teddy Sheringham has admitted he turned down the chance to sign for Tottenham for the third time in his career because he is enjoying his time at Upton Park.

Spurs made a transfer window approach for the former England international, who will be 40 in April, and West Ham were willing to let the player speak to the club he previously played for in two spells – from 1992 to 1997 and 2001 to 2003.
