Riggot set for return

Middlesbrough defender Chris Riggott could return to the starting line-up in tomorrow night's FA Cup fourth round replay against Coventry.

Middlesbrough defender Chris Riggott could return to the starting line-up in tomorrow night's FA Cup fourth round replay against Coventry.

Riggott has missed the last three games with a back injury, but may partner skipper Gareth Southgate at the heart of a defence which has conceded 17 goals in its last six games.

George Boateng and Fabio Rochemback (both knee) are back in training but still a week away, while James Morrison is stepping up his bid for match fitness after having injections for a knee problem following his recovery from a hip injury, but Franck Queudrue (knee), Ugo Ehiogu (hamstring) and Ray Parlour (ankle) are still out.

Provisional squad: Schwarzer, Knight, Parnaby, Pogatetz, Taylor, Southgate, Riggott, Davies, Bates, Doriva, Mendieta, Downing, Cattermole, Johnson, Yakubu, Hasselbaink, Viduka, Maccarone.
