Nolan: Give Allardyce cash to splash

Bolton captain Kevin Nolan believes his club need to assure manager Sam Allardyce he will have some summer transfer spending money if they want to hang on to his services.

Allardyce, touted as a successor to either England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson or sacked Newcastle boss Graeme Souness, is in the sights of high-profile employers after steering unfashionable Bolton up to seventh in the Barclays Premiership.
