Scaloni straight into action for Hammers

New signing Lionel Scaloni will make his West Ham debut at right-back at home to Sunderland after joining on loan from Deportivo La Coruna until the end of the season.

Utility man Christian Dailly is back from suspension but midfielder Yossi Benayoun is a doubt after picking up a knock in Wednesday’s 3-2 win at Arsenal.

Shaka Hislop is expected to continue in goal as Roy Carroll has not yet fully recovered from a back problem.
