Birmingham midfielder Damien Johnson has made a claim for wrongful dismissal against his red card at Anfield last night.

Johnson was shown sent off for serious foul play during Birmingham’s 1-1 draw against Liverpool in the Barclays Premiership.

Referee Uriah Rennie produced an straight red for a tackle on Daniel Agger which caught the Liverpool debutant on the knee.

Meanwhile, Derby defender Michael Johnson has also submitted a wrongful dismissal claim following his sending off against Sheffield United last night.

Both claims will be heard by a disciplinary commission on Friday.
