Charlton manager Alan Curbishley will welcome back new signing Marcus Bent against West Brom after he was cup tied for Saturday’s FA Cup win over Leyton Orient.

Winger Dennis Rommedahl will be out for at least another week with a rib injury sustained in the draw at Chelsea. Midfielder Danny Murphy could get a chance to return to the starting line-up.

Defender Gonzalo Sorondo is still on the casualty list and will not start running until next week after hurting his foot against Arsenal on Boxing Day.
